Sazze enlisted InterVision Systems Technologies Inc., an IT solutions integrator headquartered in Santa Clara, Calif., to investigate its performance and scalability challenges. Intervision partnered with F5, and together they recommended ScaleArc iDB for database scalability. Sazze also added Percona XtraDB Cluster for replication and high availability across the MySQL database servers. Together the combination of these technologies achieved 100% uptime during Black Friday and tripled the amount of e-commerce transactions from the previous year, smashing the goals set by Sazze's management team.
